Harold Norris established H-Art Management in July 2002 as a full-service agency for touring performing arts companies in the United States and abroad. Some of the successful artists and collaborations that H-Art has overseen since the company began include: Rennie Harris Puremovement, Paul Taylor Dance Company/Taylor 2, the St. Petersburg Capella Choir, George Piper Dances, The Civilians’ Gone Missing, Universes’ Slanguage, and Ilkhom Theatre from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, performing Imitations of the Koran.

For ten years, Harold Norris worked with Rena Shagan Associates, pairing major presenters with some of the world’s most accomplished dance and theater troupes. He is a past Vice-President of NAPAMA, the national service organization for North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents, and serves on the Arts Presenters Conference Committee. Before relocating to New York he worked with Stage One, the Louisville Children’s Theater, serving as Tour Coordinator/Company Manager and then instituted the troupe’s immensely successful national touring program. Harold attended Oklahoma State University as a theater/music major.

Maya Lang is a dancer by artistic training and graduated from the business school at Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in marketing.  While at Washington U., she began her arts management career as Box Office Manager and Arts Management Intern.  Maya also was Front of House Manager at Dance Theater Workshop and Audience Services Manager at the Pearl Theater.  While at DTW, Maya supervised the box office staff and was an integral part of DTW's marketing team.  Originally from Lansing, MI, Maya has danced since age six.  As a dancer, she has worked in NYC with Betsy Miller's Propel-her Dance Collective and appeared in their debut in 2006.  During the last two years, she has also appeared with choreographer Isabela Bruno and performed with Sarah Kermensky's Curious Noise (a collective that does movement-based theater work).

Ann Wagar joined H-Art Management in August 2003. Before coming to H-Art, she was the Operations Manager for the New York Foundation for the Arts for over 7 years. Ann was employed by the University of Michigan’s School of Business Administration for 10 years before pursuing a career change because of her interest in dance. After completing the internship program at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in 1989, she was hired as the Assistant Business Manager. After 4 years, she left The Pillow and moved to New York City. She was the Director of Administration for Rena Shagan Associates where she worked with Harold Norris.
